– Sculpted trunk and leaf details
– Each tree grows to a different height and orientation
– Leaves fold down at dusk
– and open up again at dawn
– Leaves also fold up and down on a touch
– Very low prim count
This tree folds up its leaves at night or on a touch. I originally designed this as an ultra-low prim tree for building offsim items. But sculpted leaves gives this tree a so much detail in only two prims that I decided to make this 'onsim' version as a decorative tree for everyone else.

Drag a copy of the tree out of inventory onto the ground. It will automatically plant itself firmly in the ground, rotate to a random angle and size. This makes each tree look a little different and not just clones of each other. You can change the position, size and angle farther with the build menu if you wish. Since these trees are COPY, you can rez as many of them as you like.
Controlling your Palm Tree:
Left click on the palm leaves and they will fold down or up. They also fold down at dusk and open back up at dawn. Yes I know there is no species of palm tree in RL that does this. Fortunately this is SL and I can make a tree do interesting behavior if I want to! Anyone, not just the owner, may click on the palm leaves to make them fold/unfold.
Getting Started:
When you purchase a Palm Tree you receive a "Palm Tree Installer" in the Objects folder of your inventory. Rez this installer on your property and left click it. The installer will automatically create a folder named "Wind Wonders" in your inventory with a "Palm Tree" and a copy of this document in a notepad file. After a few seconds the installer will delete itself (I so hate leaving litter).
If you don't want this automatic behavior then instead of left-clicking the installer, you can right-click to 'open' the installer and drag the contents into any other folder in your inventory.
