A Louis xvi showcase or vitrine entirely covered in marquetry of satinwood, rosewood, ebony, and mahogany from Cuba. Delicate gilt bronze mounts on the front frieze, apron the marquetry.
White marble for the surface.

*Doors openable.

This style of furniture, simpler, more refined, and natural response to the new French mode "a la Anglaise" was so popular at the end of the 18th century.
