This is a stethoscope with the old-style bell, a simple wearable prop for a doctor or nurse. It emits a heartbeat sound when touched. It will enhance any old-time clinic, doctor's office, hospital, or asylum experience.
The new version has been updated to interact with the Mercy patient HUD. When touched, it plays sound and gets the patient's heart rate from the HUD.
