General Information:
=============
Thank you for your interest in our Ultimate Parcel Prim Counter. The UPPC was specifically designed with both Landlords and Tenants in mind, but is also a very handy item for personal use on your own parcel. It provides Landlords with a simple way to monitor prim usage on one or multiple parcels (the UPPC is copyable) and Tenants with a quick way to check their own prim usage. Each UPPC is a standalone unit and sends it's own email notifications (if activated).
Deeding
----------
If you are not the owner of the land where the UPPC is rezzed you will need to deed a ‘Land Relay’. But don’t worry, your UPPC will detect whether or not a Land Relay is needed and, if it is, guide you through this simple process.
*NB: for the UPPC to work correctly you must have the necessary land rights otherwise you will see the message "Insufficient land rights to run scanner".
This means you must be the land owner or, if the land is group owned, have appropriate "Parcel Management" authority within that group.
Email Reporting
------------------
Email reporting delay is flexible and can be set in increments of 1 hour. Email reports provide the most detail and include, for your convenience, a SLURL link to the UPPC location.
Both email address and time delay are entered in a configuration note card, so setting your UPPC's preferences on multiple parcels is simply a matter of taking a copy of your first "_configuration" note card and replacing the other note cards with it as you set them in place.
Only the UPPC owner may view or modify the “_configuration” notecard.
=========
Typical Setup:
=========
1/ Rez your UPPC and move it to the desired position;
2/ Click your UPPC to let it know you’ve finished positioning it;
3/ Deed a ‘Land Relay’ (If you are not the Owner of the land parcel):
Your UPPC will rez a Land Relay and guide you through this simple process only if it’s needed.
The Land Relay is the shiny green sphere – Deed the sphere NOT the UPPC.
The steps are:
a) right click and 'Edit' your Land Relay;
b) click the 'general' tab;
c) tick 'Share with group' (called 'Share' in some viewers);
d) click the 'Deed...' button alongside 'Share with group';
4/ Done!
Optional Configuration:
---------------------------
1/ Change UPPC Display Mode (via UPPC Menu):
"Landlord" for a look at all prim counts on the parcel;
"Tenant" (default) is best suited for land you are renting or leasing to someone else -
this displays parcel prim counts (the same as “Landlord” above) for 30 seconds but only when touched by a 'Tenant'.
A person is deemed a 'Tenant' by the UPPC if they have any objects currently rezzed on that parcel;
“Individual” is also an appropriate mode for land you are renting or leasing to someone else –
this displays the prim count of the Avatar touching it ONLY – not the full list of all Avatar prim counts.
"Hidden" if you don't want anyone to see the UPPC or any hovertext - useful if you don't
want your tenants to know you're monitoring their prim counts;
2/ Change UPPC Access Level (via UPPC Menu):
Default Access Level is “Owner” so you may wish to change it to "Group" if you want other group members to have Menu access to your UPPC. "Public" Access Level is also available but not recommended.
3/ Set Email Reporting (via the “_configuration” notecard):
a) right click and 'Edit' your UPPC;
b) click on the 'contents' tab;
c) double click the '_configuration' notecard;
d) enter your email address alongside "Email=";
e) change the reporting delay alongside "Reporting=0" from zero to the desired number of hours between reports;

Awesome great for landlords and tenants to keep track of prims used
This is awesome!! keeps track of all my rentals all over the entire grid from one place, with easy teleport to the rental locations if needed .
IM and E-Mail alerts help keep me informed of the over usage of prims.
A must for landlords!!
