Citadel Palace Ballroom バージョン 2A

The Palace Ballroom is a large domed Grecian/Gothic hybrid that has been doing grand service on my sim for a couple of years now.

It has a large footprint and will require a minimum of 90 square metres (think 1/4 sim) but its modest prim count (178) means that even a homestead can sport an impressive build.

Made from a collection of detailed sculpts and prims its open terraces allow views through wafting lace curtains to the main dance hall, equipped with a scripted, texture change octagonal dance floor and stacked 2 tier stage.

The back drop to the stage is also a grand staircase leading to a circular balcony that runs around the dance floor, all the terraces and balconies offer opportunity to place vendors or games.

Up a further flight of stairs takes you to the private section, a grand lockable door way grants access to another large space, again it is a blank canvas with plenty of opportunity for the owner to furnish.

Up the spiral staircase to the final space, set in the dome this is very private and with a draped yellow silk canopy lends itself to a installing a grand boudoir.

The very top of the dome has an observation platform, how you reach this I leave to the owner, I use double click tp, but there are many alternative TP options that can be installed should one wish.

The building has Copy/Mod perms but don`t be tempted to rescale, it is over the 64 metre prim limit and uses many mega prims, (scaling a mega prim will have it revert to 64 metres and you`ll never be able to get it back, so be warned. You will be able to move elements and change textures safely but look out for transparent helper prims, they are there to add solidity to certain phantom sculpts.
The whole installation comes as 1 clump made up of 4 distinct link sets, I recommend this is only installed by someone with building experience, you have to remember to keep all 4 linksets selected as you position and fine tune placement, but even if you fumble it isn`t that hard to re-align the elements.
