The Triton has two functional MFD's (Multi Function Displays) and several analog instruments.
The airplane is fully modifiable! You can attach objects & prims to the plane as well as detach them. Texture maps are included for the fuselage, wings, tail and rudder. All interior textures are directly modifiable.
The cabin interior is based on the concept of the future "windowless" airplane. The idea is to place cameras on the outside of the plane that would send video to the wide panel monitor (tv) screens on the inside of the plane. This way you could benefit from looking out large "windows/monitors" while the structural integrity of the plane remains intact. The two standard windows on each side of the plane would remain for emergency egress.
The Triton has an Automatic Landing system with a customizable notecard integrated into the HUD. You can either land at the 30+ airports listed in the HUD or add your own.
Once you choose your destination the plane will automatically descend to that airport. The system controls rate of descent and speed, you simply steer the plane left or right.

Independent rudder control for correcting yaw.
Articulated flaps and nose gear.
To operate the wind system type "ww" (without parenthesis) in chat and then toggle the wind direction by typing "w" repeatedly until you find the wind direction you want. The wind direction is also shown in chat.
The plane will now fly as though there's a wind force on it. The wind system is active and changes force depending on the plane's orientation to the selected wind direction. If the wind is coming directly at the front of or the back of the plane there will be a change in speed. If the wind is coming towards the plane at a 45 degree angle there will be a moderate change in speed as well as a cross-wind/side-slipping effect. And if the wind is coming directly at the side of the plane there will be a maximum amount of cross-wind/side-slipping effect.
The force of the wind is also affected by the airplane's speed.
Altitude HUD. The plane will either automatically rotate and climb or descend and level to the altitude you choose.

ff - Flaps for faster descent
a - Auto level
Touch door to open
c - Second camera view
fs - Phantom mode - allows you to fly through anything... Just don't fly through SL terrain!
copilot - Typing "copilot" in chat will allow the copilot to control the plane.
pilot - Typing "pilot" in chat will allow the pilot to resume control of the plane.
ww - Wind - starts wind function
w - Toggles wind direction
x - Variable wind system
z - Toggles 3 different force levels of wind
sl - Strobe lights
bl - Beacon lights
nl - Nav lights
ll - Landing lights

I always enjoy flying Java planes, and this one is very fun and awesome looking. Very responsive and smooth at crossings. The auto takeoff and landing feature is also very cool. Java is very friendly and helpful. Always there to help if you need it. Best feature is throttling this thing to 105%....Prepare yourselves!!! BUY THIS PLANE!

This aircraft is elegent and sci-fi looking.Not only does it gives me a great flying experience,but also has a wonderful model.First,the cockpit is great,like modern jets.and i love the map ,which is way better than mini map.The cabin is also impressive,glass design,cooler than most private jets..Give it 5 stars!thankyou java for bringing such a awesome jet into secondlife skies.

I bought the Triton because it looks like a futuristic plane. The performance of this plane is incredible....Crosses sims very smooth even at top speed of 105. When a passenger is on it, is amazed by the elegance and shape of the plane and how smooth the flight is. I trust my pilots with this plane and is the one I use to fly my passengers! .This plane can be used to train future pilots due to the rapid response it gives even when some sims are lagging. I totally recommend this plane to beginner and experience pilots!!!! One of the best planes on the market!!
Love this plane
I bought the Triton anmd it is up to my expectations, a very solid, reliable fun and easy plane to fly. The cockpit layout and clickable controls are all easy to understand and use. The auto takeoff and landing system is great fun especially when I'm feeling lazy. The wind system was nice to use for some extra work on approach. The surprise was the secret in the tail, I have been using the Triton in RP as a space plane as well as a normal smaller airliner. Deffinately a great aircraft.
good plane
It's a good plane, easy to fly, some help to take off and for landing. Not the best textures around (I expected high quality texture indeed at this price), neither easy way to customize them.
The worse characteristic is that commands are not so responsive as expected, specially if given by HUD. Cannot understand the Automatic Altitude System, since you set an altitude on the HUD but after few seconds a message says "automatic level OFF" and the plane starts to go down... ?????
no sense and totally useless. Many times command through HUD need to be sent several times before the plane listen to them and accept them.... ?????
In the NC they tell you about this matter, but seems the creator has desisted from fixing these things, and has got it off his chest by simply telling you to watch out for the problem; which is indeed a quite serious problem.
Weighed up the positive and negative things, considering the price, I would say that 2 stars are more than what it deserve.
Suggest to head to others stores for better planes at the same price.
Stunning & Sleek - JM Triton is all that and more...
This plane is simply awesome and looks amazing. The engines would have looked nicer with the steel/aluminum on the edges for realism, but overall I'm a fan!
