Altitude HUD. The plane will either automatically rotate and climb or descend and level to the altitude you choose.
The SeaXwind seaplane can take off and land on the ground or on the water in either regular mode or wind mode. It can also taxi in and out of the water.
The SeaXwind has a new Automatic Landing system with a customizable notecard integrated into the HUD. You can either land at the 30+ airports listed in the HUD or add your own.
Once you choose your destination the plane will automatically descend to that airport. The system controls rate of descent and speed, you simply need to steer the plane left or right.

To operate the wind system type "ww" (without parenthesis) in chat and then toggle the wind direction by typing "w" repeatedly until you find the wind direction you want. The wind direction is also shown in chat.
The plane will now fly as though there's a wind force on it. The wind system is active and changes force depending on the plane's orientation to the selected wind direction. If the wind is coming towards the plane at a 45 degree angle there will be a moderate change in speed as well as a cross-wind/sideslipping effect. And if the wind is coming directly at the side of the plane there will be a maximum amount of cross-wind/sideslipping effect.
The force of the wind is also affected by the airplane's speed.
Chat Commands:
s - Start & Stop
b - Brake
e or Pg. Up - Acceleration
c or Pg. Dn - De-acceleration
f - Flaps
ff - Flaps for faster descent
a - Auto level
dd - Door
c - Second camera view
cc - Third camera view
fs - Phantom mode - allows you to fly through anything... Just don't fly through SL terrain!
copilot - Typing "copilot" in chat will allow the copilot to control the plane.
pilot - Typing "pilot" in chat will allow the pilot to resume control of the plane.
ww - Wind - starts wind function
w - Toggles wind direction
sl - Strobe lights
bl - Beacon lights
nl - Nav lights
ll - Landing lights
h - Turns hover text on and off, you have to change the speed of the plane for the change to take effect.
plon - Dash Instruments on.
ploff - Dash Instruments off.
The plane comes in 3 colors, Blue, Aqua and Green.
The plane is modifiable and the texture maps are included for the fuselage, interior, tail, rudder, table and surfboard,

I totally love the look of it, and as i love Floatplanes anyways it was a must to have.
And its not even expensive, great creator for the money, and very fun to fly with, or just lay in the water :)

My second plane from Java Designs.
For such a pretty big plane with many seats, it's a good sims crosser.
As expected, the script settings make it feel heavier than single engine propelers from the same brand.
Last but not least for a Seaplane, the changes of environment are done without any problem.
Looking for a great affordable float plane?
This one might be what you are looking for. Sure you can go out and by the fancy named ones with all the goodies but why? I spent two days with this modding it to my needs and design. If you're a decent modder then you can have fun with this plane or if not just as good as is. Want to see my design come by the SNO airport it might be parked out front from time to time. And Java is great with customer service.

I'm a GIANT fan of the whole JM line of airplanes, but this one is my fav <3 what a beautiful plane. I've been flying it for almost 2 years now and not even close to bored of it :)

This is by far the sweetest plane I own , I wanted to do some small changes ( its mod copy) and was having issues ...Im not the best at this , but the creator is very approachable and gave me a step by step walk through and success , I have the regional express courier plane I wanted for my RP needs .
Looking for something realistic , great flying and fun ... this gem is the one you need !

I wanted a go anywhere plane and id seen a few airlines and rescue groups using the seaXwind, so i thought if good enough for them its good enough for me . I wasn't really taking a chance buying this plane because i own 2 other of java's planes (Avanti and the Duke) and i know his scripting is second to none. Taking off and landing in mouselook is a lot of fun with this , the visability you have in mouselook makes this one of the best planes for mouselook flying and id say that that alone is worth getting this plane for! .
As with all java's planes all the working parts have effects on the behaviour of the plane , working the throttle with the flaps for making decents and landing is a joy (not like some i wont mention here )and for that added sense of realism there is the wind system ! , the hud comes in parts , you add what you want leave what you dont need its all up to you , you can actually fly this plane comfortably without any hud at all as all functions can be operated with simple letter commands or the use the switches in cockpit , all clickable . for what you get with this plane its excellent value for money and ive found with buying 2 other planes from java the customer service is like his scripts ,second to none . So a big thumbs up for the SeaXwind Seaplane !
