One Full Perms, resizable and tintable sculpted prim realistic bunch of sunbeams with slowly and smoothly animated texture that mimics the effect dust particles produce in sunbeams in real life.
Experiment with the transparency, colour, texture repeats & rotation angle, as well as size/shape/nature of the prim and the emitted light, and one single light ray texture can result in a number of different light rays.
The script that animates the beams is Copy+Trans.
Disappointed, but it spurs me on.
I'm not really happy with this purchase. I'm a little disappointed.
After I saw a moonbeam in a windows, I was looking for a good beam. I bought this one because it looked alike on the pictures and seems FullPerm on this marketplace. But for only a prim, 435L$ are to much for it. (No sculpt-texture and texture, the Script itself is NoMod, too)
Because this spur me on to investigate how such beams are build and work, I found out how to build my own window-beam now.
My thoughts: Make a better texture. I draw some white smooth lines with the brushes in Photoshop on a transparent background and after I animated these texture in SL the beam looked a little bit more realistic now. And if you sell the sculpt and texture instead only a prim, it could be worth five stars then.
Two stars instead of one, because this spur me on and I play around with some other semi-light effects now.
