Ballinger's Beau Rivage was inspired by the architecture of the Mississippi River during the 1840s through 1861.

FOOTPRINT: 43m square
PRIMS: 500LI

28 massive columns, intersected by a gallery on the second floor, surround the house and provide shade from the hot sun. Inside the Hall leads front to back, with the Double Parlours and Staircase on the left; the Library, Dining Room and Kitchen on the right. Both the Library and Dining Room have a fireplace.

Upstairs, the Master Suite occupies one side of the house, while 2 Guest Bedrooms and a Hall Bath occupy the other.

Both Halls are large enough to be considered additional rooms.

-Heavy moldings inside and out, plus french doors that open to the loggia and gallery in every room but the Kitchen, make indoor/outdoor living a breeze.

-The doors can be set by the owner to stay open as long as you like.

-The mural in the Dining Room is an original Zuber, constructed of 24 panels to create one cohesive scene on three walls of the room, which is lit by a Chandelier.

-Bookcase doors open both upper and lower.
