Bubble Bus - Starbase Fleet [24 prims]

All aboard the Bubble Bus, the handy transporter for conveying up to six passengers around your bases on the planet’s surface. You can even fly it up to your starbase. The Bubble Bus uses the latest antigravity technology and you can learn to fly it in no time. It's quick, responsive and looks great.

Flying the Bubble Bus
You can touch the Bubble Bus or right-click the pilot seat and select "pilot". Once you're seated, wait a second or two as you hear the powerful anti-grav engines charge up. Now, you can move by using the forward/back arrow keys to adjust the direction and speed, use the left/right arrow keys to steer, and use the PgUp and PgDn keys to climb and descend. Once you're moving, the thrust jets will stream from the rear as you steer. You can continue to fire the thrusters and move forward as long as you keep your finger on the forward arrow. Hold the Ctrl key down as you press the left/right arrow keys and you can perform a sideways strafe movement. You can also use "mouseview" if you wish.

Moving Parts.
The canopy bubble can be rolled open for easy access. You can activate the features by touching the glass or by typing in the commands "open bubble" or "close bubble". The pilot's plasma display screens will also show you more useful information if you touch them.

Parking Up and Disembarking
If you stand up while you’re still flying, the Bubble Bus will automatically turn off any forward motion, slow to a halt, maintain its height and lock its vertical and geostationary position. So, you can park next to a high landing platform or the top of a docking column by getting out of your pilot's seat when you're in position. It's then safe for you and your passengers to leave the vehicle.

Security.
The Bubble Bus is DNA-locked, a security feature that allows only the owner to fly it. You won't have to worry about someone else flying off with it after you've parked it. You can make the vehicle public by entering PUBLIC in the vehicle's description, so anyone can fly it. But once they leave the pilot's seat, it will de-rezz automatically..

Adjustments.
It's all copy and mod, so you edit the vehicle, including changing the textures. You can manually adjust and edit the position of the seat and the steering control to best fit your avi's shape. You need to know what you're doing to do this, though. Ensure vehicle's rotation coords are all set to zero before you move the controls and the support and you can't be sat in it while you're working on it. Don't modify or move the vehicle's root prim. And always work on a copy, not the original vehicle.

This vehicle is scaled perfectly for use with the Exosphere Modules such as the Landing Terminal, the Landing Dome and the Vehicle Bay.
