The Durango is a mid-sized home, requiring 245 prims and using a 27 x 30 footprint. The back deck is a separate linkset so it can be deleted if desired, cutting 10 prims and reducing the width from 27m to 18m. This is also true for the kitchen and fireplace, cutting 53 and 28 prims respectively.
The design is meant to resemble a warm country cabin, complete with a front porch for rocking and a large country kitchen. The living room is open to the rafters and features a large two sided fireplace with bookshelves on each side. The fire is touch on/off and smoke emits from the chimney when it's lit. The area behind the fireplace would make a nice den or reading area.
Upstairs is a loft overlooking the living room with a view out of the two large gable windows. Going across the short catwalk takes you to the large bedroom area with a gable window in one end, two dormers in the front, and a shed dormer at the back to increase space. Sculpted railings instead of walls give the area a more open feel.
All windows in the house will tint to five levels at a touch to any of them. I use many custom sculpts and textures which you won't see in any other homes in SL. This helps keep the prim count down and gives your home that individual touch.
Don't let my low prices lead you to believe these are slapped together boxes. I search SL and RL for the best textures I can find and spend many hours making each home as nice as I can. Look around and I'm certain you won't find a better home for the money.
All of my homes are copy/mod/no trans so you are free to make any changes you like to them. Some of the scripts are no mod and this will cause it to say no mod, but anything besides the scripts can be changed. If there is something you may want changed and don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, I will do my best to help out and make it your own personal home.
