ECN - Eastern Continental Navigator v1.0

The ECN is a mapping and navigation tool specifically for the eastern connected land masses of SL.
The continents of Satori, Nautilus, Corsica, Gaeta V, the Blake Sea and United Sailing Sims are all connected together enabling residents to travel far and wide.
The ECN is worn as a HUD so it attaches to your screen, and it helps you find your way around. Your position within these land masses is highlighted on the map, and updates as you move.
When you click the HUD there are options to show the entire land mass at once, so you can see where you are in the overall sense, and also it can focus on each area separately for a closer view.
It can further zoom the view by enlarging the HUD for a quick, closer look, then zoom it back out again.
There is an option to show the map with label names of the continents, in case you are not familiar with them.
There is also the choice to show the maps with or without the protected route Roads.
The roads map shows all the official protected route roads in green lines, and then there are yellow dots to indicate rez zones along these routes.
The included Map Marks system reads a notecard inside the HUD.
The notecard included is a list of GTFO! game hubs, specifying whether these hubs are for road, air, or sea travel. Some hubs are just one type of travel, while others can show multiple types of vehicle access.
The notecard can be edited and re-written if you prefer to list different places, the instructions explain how to list them so the HUD can read the marks.
To use a map mark, click the HUD and choose the Map Marks button. This then lists all the marks from the notecard, sorted to road, air or sea.
Choose a mark, and a red circle moves on the HUD to highlight that place.
In combination with the marker that shows your current location, you can decide what route to take to get there.
The ECN is primarily intended for long range route planning by air or sea, and for navigating the road systems on these continents.

Good product
Its helpful, but the ability to display multiple map marks would make route planning easier for sailing. Only 4 stars cause nothing is perfect :)

The map images are a tad grainy other then that its perfect still giving it 5 stars for giving me the big picture at a glance!
Excellent inter-active map and great customer support
This map is inter-active with various area that can be viewed of roads, waterways and Sims that can be used for travel and planning routes for exploring and GTFO. The creator was very helpful and receptive to suggestion. I suggested a wall mount map that could be used rather then a HUD that you have to wear. The creator came and created a Wall mounted map with the same features that exist in the HUD. BRAVO!!! for a creator that listen to customer's request. I hope soon the map will be able to interact with the GTFO map that is available when you click the GTFO link that presently as a feature of the current map. This will be great for all route planning.

Planning a route? A must-have!
It's fuddly and difficult to try planning a route from point A to point B because roads are hard to see and follow on the in-world map,
This HUD (and the Heterocera/Sansara HUD as well) make it really easy to map the roads (and waterways) throughout these regions! Great for exploring and especially for GTFO hauling. The price is right for avoiding that annoyance (sometimes stress LOL) of trying to find your way most direcly along a planned route on road or water!
