Ice Breakers:

THERE IS NO NEED TO REPURCHASE THIS PRODUCT FOR THE NEW OBJECTS. Previous owners can click "redelivery" in the marketplace, and thank you to all who bought the earlier version. The "playroom table" is designed to fit in with a home or casual setting, and the octogon shaped "tournament table" has been designed to fit more with the style of more competitive type tables.

THIS GAME IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANIMESH BASED "BOT" PLAYERS. This game only recognizes client/viewer based bots, NPCs and AFK players (i.e. SmartBot, NN Staffing Bots, Radegast, Corrade, Metabolt, POR/PORT, or any other client or service used to log in "scripted agents".)

Simple, intuitive HUD free gaming for humans. Guests can simply sit at a game, and with the simple point and click design, can begin playing without complex instructions. There's no complicated setup for NPCs or bots either. Your NPCs simply wear an attachment (which lets the game know the player is a bot) before they're seated at the game.

Ice Breakers is a low strategy game where the object is for players to take turns knocking out any of the 32 single "ice" cubes without removing the 2x2 center "block" (the 4 connected cubes under the snowman) and the unseating the figurine. The game can be played by NPCs, AFK avatars, and normal players with intuitive sit and click style play.

How to Play:

Ice Breakers is a low strategy game where the object is for players to take turns knocking out "ice" cubes without accidentally knocking out the center 2x2 block and unseating the center figurine from the game board. While typically a two-player game, when the game has more than two players, the game selects the winner based on the player whose turn preceded the losing move.

For Human players: Pick a cushion to sit at the game. When a new player is seated, the cubes will reset to their default position and a new game will begin. During a player's turn, they must click a cube to knock it out of the base. If the player does not remove a cube within the minute time limit, their turn is forfeited, and the game continues with the next player.

For Bots, NPCs, Scripted Agents, and "Sleeping" Alts: Ice Breakers uses an AI for NPC strategies to prevent your bots from making losing moves early in the game. You'll need your NPC to wear the "Autoplay Attachment Boardgamer Bot" object, and have it seated on a chair or cushion. The autoplay attachment will allow the NPC to play the game normally, without additional scripting.

The Autoplay attachment will work with ANY bot capable of being seated and wearing an attachment. If your bot can sit and wear objects, your bot is ready to play! That includes bots running on Corrade, METAbolt, Radegast; NPCs running on dedicated bot services; or AFK alts running on Android clients and even full graphics viewers.

Additional Scripts:

Animation AutoChanger script: Randomly changes sitting animations every two minutes (each cushion has 3 animations). Put this in the game object if you want NPCs (and human visitors) to change positions automatically throughout gameplay.

Editing the game:

Cushions and chairs can be moved around (in edit mode) to accommodate environment and player sizes. To change poses for a cushion or chair you're currently sitting on, use the menu (or edit the AVPos notecard to change poses with a simple click). Cushions can also be re-textured to fit better with the environment.

I've tried to keep this game as HUD-free as possible. While some elements of customization of this game may seem complicated (adding scripts to accommodate gameplay and providing some flexibility for adapting the game to the environment), I've tried to make everything as intuitive and simple as I can for non-scripting customers, casual players, NPCs, and occasional visitors. Ice Breakers is a low-strategy game, it's a perfect game as a background activity for socializing, and the mechanics of the game objects should be no more complicated than the actual rules of the game.

Surprised to see this game in sl especially with low Li. It plays like you remember in rl except the snowman doesn't fall to his death when you lose, he just disappears.
