Monorail is part of Tracker System Railways. TSR uses a unique system for keeping trains on the rails! A sequence of invisible numbered pointers (trackers) tell the train in what direction to move in order to get to the next tracker. The trackers are used to name the stations and communicate instructions to and from the monocar. Once they are set up you can make them all invisible/visible using a rezzed or worn controller. The four-seater Monocar holds a list of all the trackers on its track so that it knows which one to go to next. The monocar can be operated by a simple menu accessible to any passenger, or can be set to operate in Auto mode, whether or not there are passengers on board.

To make it easy to get started, this starter set has three station platforms with prepared trackers attached and two rails which are 'sliced' to size (each about 32m long). For the full length, you need a strip of land about 64m long and 5m wide to set it up, but you can slice the ends of the rails to make it shorter. A slideshow is provided to accompany the set-up instructions.

To extend the starter set you can:
* use any platform of your choice at any station,
* make up to 9 separate routes in a single sim,
* have bends or curves in the track (an example of each is provided which can be modified to suit your needs).
* add or use high-level track & stations (see Related Item below).

The Monocar is non-physical, so cannot cross sim boundaries, but the rails can easily be continued seamlessly, and stations designed to allow passengers to make connections with another monocar.

The Monocar is ESS-ready. If you have a Power Monitor, Power Meter & Energy Storage System (see Related Items below), the power consumption, which can be set by the owner, will be registered on all devices.
