Designers of the Regency Period often tried to recreate the actual furniture pieces found in the museums, vaults, and artwork of the time.Thematic motifs of ancient gods, sphinxes, lions, and griffins ornamented many pieces.
While all these cultural and historic influences helped determine the furniture of the Regency Period, the style itself used ornamentation for its elegance, rather than rich carvings and curved lines exhibited in earlier periods of furniture design.

A wonderful and simple antique table! This is a very pretty little thing, it looks good anywhere and can be used as a simple hall table or like what I did with it and made it into a small writing desk! I love it! The quality is absolutely superb as usual with Ordem da Rosa products and the price is perfect! I am always so excited when this store releases new items! Not a bad product t]yet and I've purchased almost everything except one or two items! 5 stars!
