Portable Record Player
IMPORTANT! This record player does not handle 30-second sound fragments, only 10-second sound fragments.
The TBF Portable Record Player pack includes a Portable Record Player (LI=4) and a collection of TBF Record Boxes (LI=1 each) with music.
The Portable Record Player can be operated by clicking on it and using the dialog window accordingly. It has most of the options that a real-world music player provides, Start, Stop, Pause, Rewind, Previous, Next. In addition, the option Pick can be selected, which will produce a list of clickable song titles in Local Chat. These titles are only clickable in a dedicated Local Chat window, not on the main screen.
Also, the music and crackling effect volumes can be changed or silenced independently, and both musical particles and announcing the next song in Local chat can be turned on or off. The record vinyl can be set to 11 different colors, and the record type can be switched from 33 rpm LP to 45 rpm Single and back. Also, the owner can set access to operating the Portable Record Player to Owner-only, Group members-only or Everyone.
Each notecard inside the Portable Record Player contains a song, or, more precisely, a list of UUIDs, each of which represents a 10-second sound fragment. The Portable Record Player plays the fragments consecutively, thereby generating a continuous stream of in-world music. There are two ways to change the musical content of the TBF Portable Record Player:
First, the notecards inside the Portable Record Player can be removed manually, by right-clicking the object and selecting Edit. In the Content tab in the Edit panel, a list of notecards will appear that can be selected, copied to your inventory, or deleted. Other music notecards can be moved from your inventory into the contents panel of the Portable Record Player. Note that these notecards have to adhere to the format required, i.e. containing a list of music UUIDs.
Second, the musical content of the TBF Portable Record Player can simply be changed by rezzing a TBF Record Box within 10 meter distance of the Portable Record Player and then by clicking on this record box. Subsequently, the Portable Record Player will ask for conformation for its contents to be replaced by the contents in the record box, which will then be done automatically. Note that only the owner of the Portable Record Player is able to change its content in this way.

It is a record player
This is exactly what it says. It is a record player. It plays records. Little music notes float out of it. You hear sounds. It is conveniently portable. Top tier, A+, five star product.
Additionally, it is compatible with notecards previously created for a different, now discontinued, music player from another creator...requiring only a minor edit. I can easily add content to this record player that I had initially used for the other player, adding to the convenience.
So much fun!
You can change records and play different music..I hope you make more music for this! So much fun!
