Public Announcer/Alarm

This product can be used either as an announcer or as an alarm or as both combined. By SL tradition, we originally called it a shouter but then it seemed too intelligent for that name. In difference with most similar products, it will not keep mindlessly screaming when there's no one around to hear. You can also adjust the volume and spare your neighbors aggravation. On the other hand, the neighbors - not to mention your customers - might be happy to listen, because a large number of announcements provides for a lot of variety. The device is even smart enough to consider group affiliations in both announcement and alarm modes.

- Select floating text over the unit (or none) and its color.
- Configure via a simple configuration notecard in the unit's inventory.
- Set volume control to whisper (10m range), say (20m) or shout (100m).
- Set an interval between announcements with 1 min granularity.
- Enter up to 50 text announcements (up to 255 chars each) and change them at any time.
- Select to announce either sequentially or on random.
- Will not announce if there is no avi in the configurable detection range (1-100m).
