This is another top quality unit for your starbase. It has four spacious vertical levels, each with it's own all-round, panoramic views of space. In the centre of each floor is an elevator stop for a turbo-lift. The lift travels up and down the central shaft and can carry up to three passengers between floors. You can call it by touching one of the call button that are beside each gate. You;ll get a menu that allows you to pick your level.

The gates on the lift will automatically open on arrival or close on departure from any level. But you can manually override them by simply touching them to open or close. If the lift is left unattended, the doors will slide shut after about 30 seconds.

These units have been designed with the usual Exosphere "deep space feel" to them.

There's plenty of room in your levels to install your own equipment and furniture and even dedicate each one to a specific function - such as administration, crew accommodation and even recreation levels.

Securing the Levels
There is only one way in and out of the unit and that's through the large iris door at the base level. Once you're in, you can call the elevator (if it's not already there) and when it arrives, you can ride it up to any level.

You can even have your Command Centre based in them and use the Lift-Stop options to control access via the elevator shaft. Since you can take an elevator-stop offline, you can effectively isolate any level, so it makes this unit ideal for a secure environment.

Note:
The included turbo-lift is pretty much self-installing. Once your four story structure is in place, just rez the elevator, then touch any of the "Call Lift" buttons. The elevator will respond and come over to rest at it's correct alignment and at the right level.

Make sure you actually "sit" on one of the disks on the lift floor (they're the ones with footprints on them) or you will get left behind when the lift moves off. The pose is actually a standing pose (rather than a sitting one), so you can ride the lift while in a standing position..When the lift arrives at the stop, you will be unseated and return to your normal standing pose. You can then exit the lift.

All the Exosphere starbase modules can easily be joined together by simply touching their bulkhead door frames. They'll move themselves into place and align themselves automatically. This module comes with free bulkhead end caps so you can make this into a separate stand-alone module, or you can join it to others to form a larger base.

It is fun just riding the elevator while enjoying views of the station and space.
