The "Tethys" Asteroid Base is a 32x32x64m large skybox designed to fit on a 32x32 metre (1024m²) or larger parcel, or 64x32 metre (2048m²) or larger parcel in its alternate configurations.
Greeble Asteroid bases are intended to function as the basis of homes, retreats and roleplay bases for the weary space traveller, as well as serve as a flexible easily modifiable container for many of the sci-fi modular interior kits available on the market.
Fitted with ‘Gorget’ and ‘Vambrace’ docking collars across the asteroid surface, these allow for expansion and connection to other structures outside of the asteroid base whilst maintaining an airtight seal.
PLEASE NOTE that this product also includes the Greeble Foundation Kit modular building system.
Some familiarity and understanding with building and modding is recommended to make full use of Greeble products.

“Gorget” Large Docking Collar
A large docking collar (25x8x21m) with large blastdoors (15x10m letterbox) & forcefield, and two removable bulkheads for smaller 4x4m
“Vambrace” Small Docking Collar
A small docking collar (6x4x6m) with a removable 4x4m bulkhead
Grip Anchor
These can also be safely removed from the asteroids if you need to save Land Impact, or aren’t a fan.
Space Dock
Designed to slot into the Gorget & Vambrace cavities, the space dock allows larger ships to access the station . There is a small pad extending below the dock to drag your large ship or ship rezzer onto from inventory.
Small Square Forcefield
A 4x4m square forcefield designed to fit the Vambrace. Could also be resized to fit other frames.
Airtight Bulkhead Plate
A plate version of the airtight bulkhead for if you want to make use of the space in the Gorget & Vambrace cavities but still maintain an airtight seal.

If you don’t want or need the large door on the Gorget, you can remove the doors and forcefield and replace them with either of these.

These have various sizes with dimensions as large as their land impact can reach without increasing. The rotating variant have a script in them that will set a random grey colour variance and random KeyFrameMotion (KFM) rotation animation on rez before self deleting the script. See FAQ/Notes.
Asteroid Field (Density)
A cloud of smaller asteroids with no collisions. The density can be fine-tuned by adjusting the alpha masking threshold of the textures
Giftcard: Foundation Kit
Alongside your purchase you should also receive an account-bound Giftcard for the Greeble Foundation Kit. This is delivered separately as its contents are too large for the SL marketplace, as well as allowing us to update it independently of the main product.
This Caspervend Giftcard can be redeemed for the Greeble Foundation Kit.
The Giftcard can only be redeemed once per account, and cannot be transferred to other accounts.
After a successful redemption, the card can be safely deleted.

this is a great idea for a skybox with multiple scenes rezzer
useful and attractive scifi skybox
It also comes with multiple other mesh build kits and parts to build the examples, like an ocean platform (like oil well, just a platform tho, build whatever or nothing, gantry system, etc). This asteroid base is 32x32x64z tho it also comes with versions rotated sideways, upper/lower docks, meant for 32x64x32z. Overall a quick path to a quality mesh scifi themed build.

Spacious interior. Looks great from all directions, inside and out. So many options. AND the gantry kit? I can't wait to put this to use.
