The Police station
Once it stood proud in the middle of the community it served. The bright paintwork of the facade
serving as a beacon of justice in the already struggling neighborhood. They say age gives character... In this case its also true... its not all too clear if it has been a change for the good. The nice colors have faded, the paint peeling off. In a few months the last few officers will be retired, and the city council hasn't decided yet if the station can be kept open...

Its a shame...
Its a crying shame.

The -Virtual Decay- Police station is a relative small, one story building and will be a valuable asset to any urban environment. It has 5 “rooms”, starting with the reception hallway. In here you can place the (Included) decor items. On the left side a small holding cell is located.
Behind the reinforced glass is the central office where the main paperwork can be taken care of.
on the right side are two smaller rooms, one of which has one way mirror windows, making it an ideal room for suspect interrogation. Also, on the outside, a small asphalt parking spot can be found, surrounded by slightly damaged fences.

Included Decorations are:
-Virtual Decay- Waiting room chairs : 8 prims, (chairs with animated waiting poses)
-Virtual Decay- Notice board : 2 Prims
-Virtual Decay- Police station shelves : 2 Prims
-Virtual Decay- water cooler : 4 Prims
-Virtual Decay- Paper & pencils : 3 prims

Like all of my builds, this one too has been textured with all custom work, textures are mapped for low lag and fast rezz. The sculpted prims I used in the police station have been optimized for the dreaded distance view bugs, which sometimes when you zoom out make the sculpts look all
deformed. If you are still experiencing this phenomenon, do the following:

On top menu, go to Advanced (Press Ctrl-Alt-D if you don't see it) and there to Debug Settings. On the window that opens,
write RenderVolumeLODFactor and change it to 4. Now the sculpts will look ok from a distance.

Legal.
