Wind Turbine (Vertical Axis, Nemoi) Version 4.7

This wind turbine is modelled on the Nemoi design, which is marketed by Semtive USA Inc. (https://semtive.com/). It is designed for residential (domestic) use, with different-sized models giving optimum outputs of 600W, 1000W & 2400W. Descriptions & specifications can be found at:

The simulation given here approximates to the middle-output model, Nemoi M (1000), and consists of 2 parts: the rotor (LI 7) & the stand (LI 7). In addition, a free Windspeed Meter is included in the folder. The turbine will communicate with the Power Monitor (see related item below) which is recommended to enable you to understand & enjoy the performance of the turbine to the full. If you purchased this item before January 2022, get a redelivery of the latest update.

As this is a domestic appliance, it is made to be easy to set up and requires no control parameters to be set. It is suitable for placement on ground or flat rooftop, has a footprint of 2.5m x 2.5m and stands about 4m high.

Customisation:
1. The objects and textures have modify permissions, so the owner can modify these as desired.
2. The stand is a passive object and may be replaced with any alternative.
3. The turbine has a very low-volume sound, as the manufacturers of Nemoi claim that it is 'soundless'. If completely silent operation is required, simply delete the sound file, 'wind-turbine'. To restore, drag the file (or any other sound file) back into Content from inventory.
