Wingsong Holodeck: Galaxies Box

The Wingsong Holodeck series is completely out of this world. Really!

The design of each of these holodecks is simple, low lag, low prim and beyond beautiful. You will spend hours in your microcostic worlds and feel as if you are traveling through infinity, and yet you never leave the comfort and safety of your own sim or estate.

The Wingsong Holodeck - Galaxies is a state of the art microcosm that puts you and your visitors into a small ergonomically designed space craft flying through space toward a vortex far off in the distance. No, you don't really go anywhere. You just FEEL like you do. You know, like a holodeck!

People who have helped me test drive this love it! They tell me they've never seen anything like it anywhere. They tell me it is one of the most spectacular things to come to Second Life. They tell me I'm brilliant.

I'm lying about that last part.

FEATURES

1 - The globe has a very slow, relaxing texture animation engine in it that gives a very realistic impression of actual travel. Click on the globe to access one of 14 preinstalled universes for you to enjoy. You can also easily add your own (up to a total of 22) by dragging textures from your inventory into the globe's Content Tab through the Edit tool.

2 - To keep folks from falling out of their world, I have not checked the PHANTOM feature in the Edit tool. I found that placing my Wingsong Holodecks in space with teleporters (not included in this package) was more convenient.

3 - The globe is sized at 40 x 40 x 40. The floor is sized at 40 x 40 x 0.01. These can easily be resized down to VERY tiny, and up to 64 using your STRETCH feature in your Edit Tool. When resizing, be sure to use the EDIT LINK feature and resize only the globe and the floor. The spaceship won't fit properly if you resize it.

4 - The two chairs are embedded with authentic original Wingsong animations for your comfort and relaxation. To sit Right Click on a chair and sit.

5 - The console is actually a freebie distributor. I have preinstalled it with a free full perm space helmet, this information sheet, and some shameless promotional items.

6 - The disembodied eyeball is actually a robot. He blinks. He senses. He tells terrible jokes.

I'm lying about the jokes. But he does amuse me so.

7 - Because my Wingsong Holodecks are designed with a commitment for low prim usage without the use of rezzers, you can easily set out more than one. I generally keep three or four of them stacked on top of one another way above the dojo. To visit them, come by the dojo and take the taxi teleporter located just to your left on the front deck.

To use, REZ out your Wingsong Holodeck: Galaxies. That's it! Of course, you can rez out additional seating for other visitors. Note - When you are first setting it up you may need to pan your camera into the globe and sit in your chair to get inside. Or you can set it to PHANTOM and just walk into it, but you'll need to put a nonphantom platform at about the level of the floor unless you place a teleporter inside.

BONUSES:

1 - Wingsong Space Helmet: because you never know when you're going to have a hull breach.

2 - Wingsong Chair - Space: At a mere 2 prims, these gorgeous little chairs are identical to the two that are linked to your spaceship so that you can set out additional seating for guests. They won't fit in the spaceship proper but they can fly near it and still enjoy the space travel. Embedded with original Wingsong animation for comfort.

Everything here is COPY/MOD (except the helmet, which is full perm!), so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.
