Wingsong Seg RIDE V3

This is a RIDE/REZ Seg; it requires land. It is one of the few RIDE vehicles we make that does NOT support passengers.

This vehicle is specifically designed for high manageability. It is a touring seg, NOT a racer (although it does have a turbo mode). The RIDE V3 series was designed from the ground up as a high performance, easy to handle system of vehicles.

NOTE: A great many inworld vehicles are revved up so high by default as to make them difficult if not impossible to drive. This annoys me to no end. Our vehicles are generally set with 6 gears in the range of 5 to 75 mps. Just like in real life, speed is related to manageability. Too much speed increases your chances to get whipped by lag, drop your seg, or run into buildings or off high cliffs.

This vehicle uses ACS scripts, noted for being the standard of REZ vehicles. Most vehicles utilizing these scripts cost hundreds or thousands of dollars; the scripts are pretty pricey and most builders will pass this expense on to you. We at the Wingsong Dojo do NOT. Why? Because we sell alot of these vehicles and recouped our initial investment very quickly.

FEATURES and HOW TO USE:

1 - REZ your seg to the ground in an area where you have land permissions.

2 - This vehicle is VERY easy to operate: After rezzing it, RIGHT CLICK on the floor board and select RIDE (You can right click other areas but the floor is the easiest). Move using arrow keys for forward and turns. Shift up for by clicking SHIFT key + RIGHT ARROW key; shift down by clicking SHIFT + LEFT ARROW key. Reverse by pressing the DOWN ARROW key. Pop a wheelie by tapping the PAGE UP key.

3 - Touch the floor for an onboard menu of functions. Most of these are self explanatory. Some of the features are:
- headlights
- transmission (manual or automatic)
- custom controls for setting your seg to your own preferences for driving style (steering, gears and throttle speed, banking, braking, camera angle, etc)
- onboard avatar adjustment
- locking and unlocking to allow others to drive your seg
- resizer
- horn
- flight mode
- turbo mode (This vehicle is preset with relatively low speeds but with a click of a button you are automatically in RACING mode.)
- HUD distributed through menu (includes many items from the menu as well as a speedometer; VERY easy to use)
- Driver's Manual HELP distributed through menu
- alarm system (sounds when anyone else attempts to ride locked bike; the alarm can be manually turned off by owner and it will turn off automatically after about 30 seconds)

4 - We have installed a dual horn system. You can honk the main horn through the menu by clicking on the floor. You can also play 19 additional FUN sounds by clicking on the tires. Add your own sounds by dragging them to the seg's floor's Content Tab.

5 - The seg is embedded with a high quality original Wingsong animation.

6 - An exhaust shoots out of the pipe you drive. You can turn the exhaust on and off by touching the small pipes on back of the floor.

7 - Your seg is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! Note that in your inventory it will appear to be NO MODIFY because of the proprietary scripts but when you REZ it out you'll see that you CAN modify it.

NOTE: We make several other Segs, including an ADD (wearable attachment), and our Seg RIDEs in our V2 series, which have cruise control and passenger permissions but lack many of the bells and whistles of the RIDE V3 Seg (ex, they do not bank, fly, lock/unlock, pop wheelies wheelies, have onboard menu controls).
