SPAS-12 Shotgun

OVERVIEW:
A legendary, up-close-and-personal dealer of death. This retro auto-loading shotgun offers up devastating firepower at close range, as well as unique alternate ammunition types that offer up flexibility and strategy.
BACK STORY:
"Inside, we set up a hasty perimeter. We were practically back-to-back, but it didn't matter much with the crowd that was building right outside the doors. We wouldn't be going anywhere until help arrived. In that kind of a tight space, though, we had the advantage. They had no choice but to bottleneck through the tight entrances, where our shotguns ripped them to shreds. By the time Knight and Mechanic radioed us that they were a block away, the mobs had subsided. From what I've seen, they definitely do learn. They were smart enough to realize they wouldn't be able to reach us like that, and must have figured there was easier prey elsewhere. For one thing, they certainly learned not to mess with the SPAS-12."
CONTROLS
Weapon uses standard mouselook controls with arrow keys. The SPAS-12 is semi-automatic by default, but can be switched to pump-action mode. While in pump action, releasing the mouse button pumps the forend. Upon emptying the magazine, click again to reload, or use the reload gesture. You don't have to reload to swap ammo types (unless using the quick-key for ammo.) Firing continuously will degrade accuracy, pausing fire will gradually return accuracy to normal. Various attachments will affect performance aspects such as reload time, accuracy, and special abilities.
A number of quick keys are built into the weapon controls. Pressing left and right simultaneously will reload. Pressing left and right simultaneously with a full magazine will cycle to the next ammo type. Pressing forward and backward simultaneously will melee.
GESTURES
The SPAS-12 is a secondary weapon. Using the included gestures, it's mapped to the 2 key. If used with a primary weapon (such as the FAL-PARA), pressing 2 will automatically safe the primary weapon and deploy the secondary weapon. CTL S to safe (using included gestures.) Gestures may be modified to use this weapon-swapping functionality with any primary weapon.
HEADS-UP-DISPLAY
The SPAS-12 features a custom Heads-up-display (or HUD). The HUD displays the current ammo type and remaining rounds in the magazine with an intuitive and unobtrusive set of animated icons. It is fully automated, and doesn't require (or accept) any user input.
Also included is the general-purpose [Z-DAY] Combat HUD. This HUD displays a reticle when targeting an avatar, and shows a hazard icon when the user is being targeted by another avatar.
ANIMATIONS
The SPAS-12 features an animation overrider. It takes over certain animations such as standing, running, and walking. As such, it's always best to turn off any and all other animation overriders you might be wearing, as they could conflict with the SPAS-12's animations.
ATTACHMENTS
Folding Stock - Can be folded, unfolded, or removed entirely to suit your needs.
MRD - Micro Red Dot. A tiny holographic sight designed for rapid target acquisition.
Scope - A 1.5x optical scope designed to enhance accuracy when using slugs.
Shell Carrier - A receiver-mounted shell carrier. Makes every other reload twice as fast by keeping ammo at hand.

Stack Heaps
Not sure what went wrong but after about a week of daily use this thing suddenly has stack heaps on stack heaps. New copy did the same. ITs great looking, has decently low lag scripts a good amount of customization but here I go buying a replacement after a week.

I love it, it's really realistic.
The sounds are awesome and the animations are pretty good.
This gun... it makes me hard... to kill.
TLDR: Looks great, fantastic animations, perfect functionality, excellent ammo choices (which work differently depending on situational uses), will work for combat (close to mid ranges) and roleplay both, isn't laggy.
Now for the people who give a damn about exposition! I'm going to sing a bit of praise here and brag a little bit, so please excuse me a little bit. I've been looking for a good shotgun for quite some time, and even though I have a preference for the more classical 'trench gun', I have to say this thing is fantastic and really hits it home with nostalgia (Half-Life, the first shooter I played, has this shotgun, and so does the sequel!). But besides that I've tried out a LOT of shotguns during my time in the SLMC, and I have to say this one has performed the absolute best out of all of them. After giving this gun a little practice, I found I was owning the map both in CQC and even a fair bit at range! Now I'm not telling you guys that this is a wonder gun that'll make you instantly win everything. No gun has that except those designed by assholes. This gun is, though, really good if you use it appropriately. It IS a shell-fed shotgun, so keep that in mind. You won't snipe with this. All in all, this is an absolutely fantastic gun that can see usage in all aspects one might decide to throw it into (except sniping! DON'T DO IT!).

Best SPAS out there ...Seriously
Okay so...as you all know I own every Z-day gun to date ...and this one right here ...well this one just blows them all away, no matter if you are a male or a female the anims look and feel amazing, the sound is good but could be a little more beefy for a spas BUT it's not that bad, just putting that in as a side note !
The gun works well in lag and the pump is just so amazing ...BUY THIS SPAS trust me if your looking for a shot gun you will not be dissapointed. ( not to mention the after market service is the best in sl hands down with no other contest.)
