The airplane is fully modifiable! You can attach objects & prims to the plane. Texture maps are included for the fuselage, wings, tail and rudder. All interior textures are directly modifiable.
The Avanti has an Automatic Landing system with a customizable notecard integrated into the HUD. You can land at the 30+ airports listed in the HUD or add your own.
Once you choose your destination the plane will automatically descend to that airport. The system controls rate of descent and speed, you simply steer the plane left or right.

Independent rudder control for correcting yaw.

To operate the wind system type "ww" (without parenthesis) in chat and then toggle the wind direction by typing "w" repeatedly until you find the wind direction you want. The wind direction is also shown in chat.
The plane will now fly as though there's a wind force on it. The wind system is active and changes force depending on the plane's orientation to the selected wind direction. If the wind is coming directly at the front of or the back of the plane there will be a change in speed. If the wind is coming towards the plane at a 45 degree angle there will be a moderate change in speed as well as a cross-wind/sideslipping effect. And if the wind is coming directly at the side of the plane there will be a maximum amount of cross-wind/sideslipping effect.
The force of the wind is also affected by the airplane's speed.
Altitude HUD. The plane will either automatically rotate and climb or descend and level to the altitude you choose.
Chat Commands:
s - Start & Stop
b - Brake
e or Pg. Up - Acceleration
c or Pg. Dn - De-acceleration
f - Flaps
ff - Flaps for faster descent
a - Auto level
Touch door to open
c - Second camera view
cc - Third camera view
fs - Phantom mode - allows you to fly through anything... Just don't fly through SL terrain!
copilot - Typing "copilot" in chat will allow the copilot to control the plane.
pilot - Typing "pilot" in chat will allow the pilot to resume control of the plane.
ww - Wind - starts wind function
w - Toggles wind direction
x - Variable wind system
z - Toggles 3 different force levels of wind
sl - Strobe lights
bl - Beacon lights
nl - Nav lights
ll - Landing lights
For Independant rudder control:
Normal mode:
Shift + Left arrow and Shift + Right arrow.
Mouselook mode:
A/D + Left mouse button

Many options, flies very well, has a nice interior and on top of that a rare design.
If you like the design of it, it's a must to get and worth the price for sure.
This is really nice
A great recreation of the real life Piaggio P180. Very nicely done. Sure there is another push prop aircraft out there that's nice but it's expensive. Java builds are decent and just enough to make one happy with the buy being not to fancy but enough to it to make it enjoyable. Iv'e been modding some variations to fit my needs and so far it's been fun.
Rock-solid stable and extremely well scripted airplane!
The stability and responsive performance of the Avanti is better than almost any other airplane I've found in SL. It crosses sims with ease, handles in an extremely predictable and reliable manner and it's truly a joy to fly. A huge assortment of HUDs are included and all of them work flawlessly and with extreme accuracy. The scripting engine powering this airplane is highly refined and appears to be extensively tested - the performance of the scripts is in line with the very best airplanes available in SL. The exterior and interior styling is highly professional and looks amazing. Texture maps are included for all major surfaces and mesh faces are perfectly symmetrical, allowing for very easy retexturing.
This is a truly professional level airplane with perfect performance characteristics, providing an extremely enjoyable flight experience that is easily accessible for new pilots as well as being sufficiently accurate to allow highly seasons veterans of SL flight to enjoy its flight profile for a great many hours of enjoyment. I highly and fully recommend this product - it is virtually perfect. You will not be at all disappointed in any way.
Fun & simple aircraft to fly yet also a nice addition to any fleet of aircraft companies roleplaying on the SL Grid.
The cockpit display on this aircraft works really well and is one of my favourite setups of cockpits from various builders nicely laid out and uncluttered.This model is well made and appears to me to be as close to the real aircraft as SL limits allow. Great sounds, Low script times & crossings are a breeze, I love the auto landing systems and other script ideas that Java includes now as standard in his builds
It's mod, so is just perfect for me to be able to repaint it and add my own flare in texturing to this plane.
I recommend this aircraft to anyone who wants a nice Prop aircraft that is a little different to the normal ones out there in styling, and who likes the take off and landing sequences that so many other makers ignore. Great Build well worth the money asked.

I bought the Duke floatplane which its absolutely great, so i had to try this one as well.
Love the MFD, its working really well and accurate, the built in GPS its a great feature, the design and the sounds are awesome too. I can only recommend this plane!

The Aircraft Are Blended feature due to GPS from Shergood. and Dashboard from Christi? also. It's had Great Looking Cockpit with Java's Main Feature. any people can interested the Avanti? everyone?
