Notes:
This is 1 prim street lantern, that may suit different centuries themes.
Unlike many other 1 prim sculpt lanterns, this one multiface sculpted so not need any special texture, and not limits you in using only that one I used. You can uses absolutely ANY you have in inventory. So this lantern uses:
- 1 texture for lantern base;
- 1 texture for glass part (glass part made a way, you does not need to use transparent texture, use even solid as by default you see at this one);
I am leaving you option to modify it the way to suit yours needs, so you can easily replace the way it textured to the way you like.
Be sure you select face first (glass or metal part) to separately change texture. If you not familiar with this basics, ask yours more experienced friends how to texture different faces on prim (side on cube for example. it is absolutely the same).
Script using inside custom written by me. Using only 7KB memory. Active only on touch.
Also I add option, if you want to use more then one lantern in yours area. Just link all lanterns. remove scripts from all. but not root. Now you can operate to switch all linked lanterns only with touch of one. Also I am giving you option to change color of light. Just rename included in lantern notecard to the color vector you need. Caveats:
- Do not change building block type. otherwise multiface will be broken. If you did that, just rez fresh copy from yours inventory;
- Do not use any phantom child script. it will brake multiface too.

P.S.:Multiface sculpts works fine in any viewer, and have no difference as only have more then one face to texture.
Information about that can be get in building groups around SL. or just google. I am not giving any consultation on how to make such sculpt, sorry.
