1. Attachments
-Optics:
Holographic: A specialized, laser-holographic sight.
Reflex: A small, low-profile red dot sight.
Red Dot: A full-sized, tube-type red dot sight.
Rear Iron: Toggles the attachment of the rear ironsight.
-M320 UGL: Toggles the attachment of the underslung grenade launcher
The M320 allows for five different grenades to be launched.
The M320 can be set to reload automatically or manually.
Attachment of the M320 will remove the vertical grip, if attached.
-Suppressor: Attaches sound suppressor
The suppressor reduces report volume and modifies report signature.
Changes to low-visibility b.ullets
-LAM: Attaches a rail-mounted PEQ box.
When attached, the laser can be turned on with the "Laser" button.
-Grip: Attaches a forward-mounted vertical grip
The vertical grip can be adjusted to fit your avatar.
The vertical grip will not attach if the M320 is attached.
-Mag Grip: Attaches a magazine grip that allows for easier magazine handling.
Magazine grip attaches to bottom of magazine.
2. Colors
-Black: Standard matte black finish.
-Tan: Sand-based tan finish for desert environments
-Olive: Olive drab finish similar in color to an older-style uniform.
-Fabulous: Just... Don't ask.
-Bling: Stop giving Hugo ideas.
3. 40mm Ammunition
The optional M320 40mm Grenade Launcher has five choices of ammunition.
-M406 HE: Standard high-explosive grenade with a 5.0m kill radius.
-M651 CS: Gas emission grenade for area of denial use. Emits CS Gas for 10 seconds.
Emission starts one second after detonation and covers a 7.5m radius.
Prolonged exposure to the gas is lethal.
-M680: Smoke Canopy grenade that provides 20 seconds of dark gray smoke to hide movement.
-M713: Smoke Indicator grenade for marking targets. Emits a column of red smoke.
Transmits coordinates of target for artillery or air bombardment.
-M1007: Flashbang grenade. Blinds enemies for 10.0 seconds.
The flashbang effect does emit a noise to simulate the effects of a real grenade of this type.
While this noise is not pleasant, it is not shrill or painful to the listener.
4. Visual Effects
-Animations: The specially designed animation system allows you to use your choice of AO with the rifle.
The system works to prevent standard AO's from over-riding the rifle's animations.
Animations can be disabled.
-Particles: The Mk.16 Mod 0 features custom particles for muzzle effects and spent casing ejection.
All particles used are low intensity and do not cause latency (lag) or reduce frame rate.
All particles may be disabled should you wish not to use them.

A reliable and competent rifle
This gun is good. Here is why:
1: The scripts don't kill the sim.
2: There's a host of attachment possibilities.
3: There's a lot of skins.
4: The gun is actually more realistic than most others of its kind in SL.
5: It doesn't murder your complexity.
6: It doesn't have scripting in it which you wont need since you can't see anyways.
7: The creator is actually really helpful and will actually work with the customer to find a solution to whatever problem is found (If within reason of course).
8: The guns are actually updated, not just forgotten after release.
This gun gets my five stars for proper competence with both military and roleplay settings.
Great Weapon but no resize?
This gun despite being made so long ago in 2011 has aged pretty well and still is one of the better looking weapons.
I for the life of me, could not get it to resize. So for a larger avatar, this gun doesn't fit right with the hands. The grips sit off center so I am unable to use those attachments and when aiming with the gun, it doesn't fit right. Shame, I really like the gun.
Has so many features yet missing
While this rifle has great detail and many good features it is seriously lacking important features, the ability to re-size it same as several other makers offer. There is need also to adjust the poses. I am of "normal" height 5'5 and the rifle positions such it is inside my body and Edit does not help. In all poses either me or both me and the rifle are partly underground. I wish this rifle also had a version for the VICE meter, but from the manual says this is being worked on. There is a scripted prim called "::ISA:: Mk.16 Mod 0 MCE / VICE Update Card" but the documentation makes no mention of it nor does it seem to do anything. If for some reason the poses will not scale properly with the rifle when it is re-sized providing the rifle in multi-sizes with both male/female versions might minimize the current issues. This review is for version 2.0

One of the best assault rifles on SL!
If you all are looking to buy a good assault rifle on SL, this is the one for you. I love the modifications such as the holo scope, mag pull and the laser sighting attached to it. Plus the firing is truly magnificent just like a real assault rifle. I have to give credit to Ironsight Armaments for making this rifle on of a kind. If you all in the market for a weapon, be sure to get this Mk. 16 mod, it is one of the best assault rifles on SL at an affordable price.
Great gun!
I have to say that I have enjoyed this gun quite thoroughly. It is nothing compared to my RPG launcher but great for fighting in the SL militias with. The size of the bullets are within legal limits for fighting on sims like the Dogs of War sim and others like it.
