Furia, Italian for "furious" is a quick and nimble "schooner" with 8 guns. Two in the forward "chaser" position, and three on each side for attacking to the broadside. While not a powerful ship compared to many ships, her speed and maneuverability makes her fight more like a stiletto than a broadsword.
Furia is not designed to go toe to toe with the larger medium ships.
She was meant to swoop in, unload a cargo of cannonballs, and get away quickly. A prudent captain knows when and where to battle and when to cut and run. A note to remember, there are old captains and there are bold captains, but there are no old and bold captains.
With the Refit Furia has been completely reworked.
She may look the same, but the mechanics have been tuned, the mesh put on a strict diet to lessen the Land Impact, and her speed is now more even all around instead of only quick when hard on the wind.
