You can build your own White Water River with this water object from Ocean Engineering. Terraform a ditch in your land and then “fill” it with this special “water” prim. It flows and ripples like wild white water while making a roaring white water sound. (The volume is adjustable). All the off-sim vehicles from Ocean Engineering react to it and move down-stream. The “Off-Sim Bodysurfing” application is included (free!) so you can immediately jump into the water and try it out by swimming in it. Click on the "try it in SL" button below to try out the river I have set up. You can swin, paddle a canoe, a kayak, an inner tube, a river raft or a jet-ski on the river there.

White Water River has a dialog to change the size, speed of the water and volume of the white water sound. You can use the Build Dialog in your viewer to position and rotate them. If rotated so that the water flows up-hill, the white water will pull vehicles and swimmers up against gravity!
