A Shield that has 3 types of defense form, which can change during combat to fit with tactical needs.

(0) Energy Restore:
When not holding (RS), restores 3% energy per second.


(1) Defense (standard form)
. Defense damage with shield. You can walk around during defense stance. (Penalty: Can not run)
(if other melee weapons which has movement lock, you'll need to use evade skill once to release movement lock.
they usually are: (RS) + PageDown : a backward roll to unlock movement)

. Toughness Level: 100%:
Prevents 100% combat damage (will fail to prevent "small" damages lower than 10).
Damages prevented this way will converted to energy cost.

. Energy Cost: 5% (first hold)
and then 1% per second
and <damage>% when being hit

. Guard break: happens when shield's energy drops to zero. defense stance will ended.
you'll need to wait until energy restored.

(SP1) "Just Defense" (JD):
Activated in the first 1.0 second of using (1).
if successful guards enemy's attack in this short period, you'll be able to:
. reflects damage back to your enemy (GVG system)
. prevents combat damage (GVG)
. Push enemy away (only in pushable regions)
* the timing of JD may vary due to sim lag.

(2) Light Mode defense: (Hold) Backward (or S key) + PageDown (or C key)
. Activates "Light Mode" of the shield, entering auto-defense in the next 7 seconds.
High in mobility, ideal for preventing damages from light weapons.
. Can Run During Light mode.
. Toughness Level: 50%: Prevents 50% combat damage.
. En Cost: 35% (for activation)

(3) Heavy Mode defense: (Hold) Backward (or S key) + PageUp (or E key)
. Activates "Heavy Mode" for full power defense. Entering auto-defense in the next 7 seconds.
High in defense power, ideal for preventing damages from heavy weapons.
. (Penalty: Can not MOVE during activation)
. Toughness Level: 150%: Prevents all combat damage and absorbs 50% damage to heal yourself.
. En Cost: 60% (activation)

Position Setup:
. allows the shield to change position in relax and guarding stance, so that it can fit with other gun / melee weapons

. you don't need to setup the perfect position to make the shield work. this only makes it look better.

. default position settings assumes the shield is worn on left Forearm. by changing the position setting, it is possible to equip
the shield on other attach point.

. enter setup course by inputting: "/75 zd3 pos setup" or by touching the floater in the rear side of the shield
