Furious Depth Finder Versión 1.3

Furious Depth Finder is a wearable sonar HUD that scans ahead and below your avatar to display water depth in real time. It uses hovertext glyphs to show a forward arc of terrain and water, and provides color‑coded alerts when approaching shallow water.

How to Use

• Attach the HUD to your avatar.
• Touch the HUD to switch the HUD on and off.
• When the HUD is on, the water depth display appears.

• An eight-line display shows the water depths ahead.
• Block glyphs indicate the water depth at each point.
• The taller the block, the shallower the water depth.
• There are eight different depth blocks, in steps of 2m.
• Where no block is shown, the water is more than 16m deep.
• Triangular blocks ▲ indicate dry land at that position.
• Current water depth is shown at the bottom of the display.

Colors, Warnings and Alerts

• The display is colored white when the water below you is deeper than 3m.
• The display turns yellow to warn when the water depth is less than 3m.
• The display turns red when the water depth is less than 2m.

Ranges and Limits

• Forward scan range: 48m
• Max scan depth: 16m
• Warning depth: 3m
• Alert depth: 2m
• Scan arc: 45°

Efficiency Features

• The HUD is designed to conserve sim resources whenever possible.
• While active, the HUD updates 5 times each second for a responsive display.
• If you are stationary, the display remains static and is not redrawn.
• If you remain stationary, the display switches off and the update rate slows.
• If you are over deep water, the update rate is slowed as there is nothing to draw.
