A large square Louis XIV frame, finely carved and gilded. The picture inside can be replaced.

The original featured painting is "Classical Landscape Evening" by John Wootton, an oil on canvas painted between 1740 and 1745 and located today in the Yale Center for British Art.

John Wootton (1682 - 1764) was an English painter of sporting subjects, battle scenes and landscapes. He had a fine classicising style of painting landscapes, large views and equine subjects, and was the actual first British painter to base a career on such paintings, greatly influencing other painters of the same period.
