pa-18 super cub undercarriage fairings (boxed)

PLEASE NOTE: This is a modification for the Laminar Systems PA-18 Super Cub.

You must own the Super Cub in order to be able to use this.

This is a set of wheel fairings to hide those wheels away and make your cub more aerodynamic*

Plus there are some panels to fill in the gaps between those struts.

These are hand crafted (well, made by paw actually) with high, medium, low, lowest and physics models all painstakingly created by me. The mesh uploader has generated none of this so you get nothing but nicely made mesh that shouldn't interfere with the normal operation of your cub.

*claim to be more aerodynamic may be false. well, alright, it's an utter lie but the fairings do look nice :)

Installation is nice and simple!

For those experienced in modding/editing, I'm sure you already know what to do. Rez the cub, rez the fairings, make the position/rotation of the fairings match that of the plane, link them to plane (but not the box that carries them), then pick up your plane.

For those less experienced, there are more explicit instructions in the manual.

Out of the box, the parts just have an ambient shadow texture applied to them and are tinted yellow to match the standard yellow cub colour scheme.

The texture is provided in the box, full perm. So either tint to match your colour scheme or export the texture and paint it however you please.
