Wind Turbine (Vertical Axis, McCamley) Version : see Contents

This Vertical Axis Wind Turbine has the same controls as the Horizontal Axis Turbine (see Related Items below), but features the revolutionary McCamley Rotor, which can be seen at:

Control of the machine is provided by an owner-openable cabinet at ground level. The rotor & stator assembly is 4.25m tall, and mounted on a 15 m mast. The rotor may be either locked or unlocked to other users.

This wind turbine reports output data, and can be used in conjunction with the Power Monitor (see Related Items below).
