Starbase Hangar Bay [29 prims]

The expansive interior of this epic Starbase hangar bay has plenty of room to hold several of your Starbase fleet at the same time. It uses the clamshell-style bay doors that slowly opens like a giant beak.

The Starbase hangar has a spectacular clamshell-style bay door, that opens on touch as you approach for a landing. The insides of the bay has atmospheric lighting effects. You can turn the wall or the ceiling lights on or off by simply touching them. At the rear of the hangar is a control panel and a large blast door with plexi-glass translucent view panels. The blast door provides access to the rear area of the hangar. You can raise or lower it by touching it or using chat command. (say "open blast door"). You can also lock the blast door to prevent access to the main hangar area. (say "lock blast door")

The rear hangar area acts as a workshop and has a teleporter jump-pad up to the upper deck. There's a sliding, lockable bulkhead exit door that leads through to the rest of the Starbase.

The upper deck is a spacious area with an arching domed roof, with transparent panels, so you can appreciate the views of the stars. This area is great for Role Play functions. It can be used for storage of maintenance parts, or you can add a few tables and stools and use it as a hangout area for the pilots. You can even use it as crew living quarters by adding your own furniture.

Free accessories:
There are special "Magno-Bolt" panels on the sides of the hangar bay walls that you can automatically attach the accessories to. Just touch the panels to self-install and align them. You get three accessories and YOU get to decide which ones you want to use. You can detach and reattach them at any time, so you have control on what goes where. These accessories are:

Gantry Walkways: [4 prims] mesh
These raised walkways can be fitted to either side of your hangar walls. There's a set of stairs at one end with lights embedded in the steps. You can walk up and then along the gantry to inspect your craft while they are docked.

Hangar Repair Unit: [4 prims] part mesh
This can also be attached to either side of the hangar walls. There's a ramp leading up to a platform with three robotic arms and a control panel. The robot arms are mesh and don't actually move, but are great for RP.

Oh, and did we mention? You can't have a starbase hangar without a starship! So we're giving you a FREE "Gladiator" Tri-Jet Space Cruiser to fly around in. This beautiful spacecraft, is simply to fly - just jump in and use the arrow keys to steer your way around the stars. It has an equipped cockpit, landing gear and even has three particle jets that engage when you move. Use it to polish your hangar docking and take-off skills. This module comes with free bulkhead end caps so you can make this into a separate stand-alone module, or you can attach it to others to form a larger base.

All the Exosphere starbase modules can easily be joined together by simply touching their exterior bulkhead door frames. They'll automatically align and then move themselves into place.
